We know that the time spent dying can be overwhelming. What should be done after a death? Which documents do I need? What is appropriate at a farewell party? ... That is why we want to support with simplicity. It starts with our service packages, which include everything you need — no complicated selection process. At the same time, we respond to your wishes, because every farewell is individual.
Many undertakers work with opaque cost models. Various additional items are often added to the basic price of a funeral, for example for transfers outside core times, for coffin or urn, or for cremation during cremation. This makes it difficult for relatives to understand the costs of a funeral and often leads to unpleasant surprises. On the other hand, we rely on transparent fixed prices without hidden costs.
With us, you have a permanent contact person who will take care of everything related to your funeral. We will accompany you personally and in a way that is convenient for you.
Everyone has different needs during the time of grief. We want to address this and guide you in a way that suits you. What do we mean by that? Contrary to popular belief, not everything has to be decided immediately. For example, you can still decide in which cemetery you want to bury yourself 1-2 weeks after death, whether it should be a tree or lake burial, or whether you would like a farewell party. The same goes for many other decisions. We will guide you step by step and help you make the necessary decisions at the right time. You'll find more Examples of our individual support here.
It is important to us to relieve you of the burden through simple and fair pricing. That is why we work with simple fixed prices, which include all regular services provided by the funeral home. The only remaining costs are for the place of burial. These costs vary greatly between different cemeteries and types of burial (e.g. sea burial and tree burial). We would be happy to advise you on this. If you have other wishes in addition to our service packages, such as a farewell at an open coffin or a candle ritual at the funeral service, we will also implement them for you. I am Christina and I am a companion at Memovida. I was able to gain my entry into the funeral industry and my previous experience in a traditional house in Hamburg. My training as a grief counselor and my (ongoing) continuing education as a death beam have taught me to think beyond the last breath. In my work, it is important to me to take pressure and stress away from families and loved ones. It is important to me to convey that we have time to make decisions and to arrange a coherent and appropriate farewell together. Even after my support has ended, I am still there for families and loved ones.
In case of an emergency, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our pick-up team is also available 24/7.

Nach dem unerwarteten Tod meiner Frau habe ich einige Bestatter kontaktiert um eine Preisvorstellung zu haben,was auf mich zukommt. Die Preise waren eigentlich unverschämt. Nach einiger Zeit bin ich auf ihr Unternehmen gestoßen. Ich kann nur sagen, hier stimmte alles vom Anfang bis zum Ende der Betreuung durch Frau Haan. I recently suffered the loss of my partner. Navigating many levels of German bureaucracy as a non native speaker was challenging at best.
