First, contact us and give us a funeral authorization. This document is the legal basis on which we can take on all organizational steps. You can contact us by telephone or online — in the latter case, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Pick-up takes place directly at the place of death — be it at home, hospital, nursing home or hospice. The deceased person is then buried with dignity in a cremation coffin and transferred to a crematorium. Experienced partner companies from your region take on this task, always with the greatest respect and care.
We report the death to the competent registry office and apply for the necessary death certificates. Which documents are required for this depends on the marital status:
We take care of registration at the crematorium and all necessary documents for cremation. Since the requirements vary depending on the federal state, we take care of the entire coordination for you. After cremation, the urn is brought to the desired place of burial — whether cemetery, funeral forest or sea burial.
After cremation, the ashes are transferred to Kerkrade in the Netherlands. There, Baumfrieden mixes it with the soil of the young tree you have chosen — this is only possible thanks to the legal framework there. The tree is then kept under expert care for four to nine months in order to form strong roots during this initial growth phase. As soon as it is sturdy enough, it is carefully prepared for transport and handed over to you for implantation at a location of your choice in Germany.
As soon as the death certificates are available, we will take care of cancellations from health insurance and pension insurance. If the deceased person was married, we also apply for the three-month transitional pension for the spouse — quickly, unbureaucratically and reliably.
