In einem Bestattungsvorsorgevertrag halten Sie mit einem Bestattungsunternehmen wie Memovida Ihre konkreten Wünsche (z. B. Bestattungsform, Sarg/Urne, Trauerfeier) schriftlich fest und legen den Kostenrahmen fest.

Wenn Sie eine Sterbegeldversicherung abgeschlossen haben, wird Ihr Versicherungsschein für die Abrechnung der Bestattung benötigt. Wenn Sie die Vorsorge über einen Treuhandvertrag finanziell abgesichert haben.

Hier wird die gesamte Summe für die Bestattung sowie die Kosten für den Beisetzungsort in einem Treuhandkonto hinterlegt. Dafür zahlen Sie zu Lebzeiten den gewünschten Betrag auf ein spezielles Konto ein, das insolvenz- und pfändungssicher ist. Der Betrag kann als Einmalzahlung oder in Raten gezahlt werden. Im Todesfall darf nur das beauftragte Bestattungsunternehmen auf dieses Geld zugreifen – und auch nur, um Ihre vereinbarte Bestattung umzusetzen. Übrig gebliebene Beträge werden an Ihre Angehörigen ausgezahlt.
Bei einer Sterbegeldversicherung zahlen Sie monatlich oder jährlich Beiträge ein. Bei Ihrem Ableben zahlt die Versicherung einen vertraglich festgelegten Betrag aus, der zur Deckung der Bestattungskosten dient. Die monatlichen Raten werden abhängig von Ihrem Alter und der gewünschten Gesamtsumme berechnet. Bei den meisten Versicherungen können Sie über einen Ratenkalkulator erfahren, wie hoch Ihre Raten wären.
